60 YEARS OF WORLD HUNGER RELIEF
CONFERENCE & MEETING, GALA & PARTY
To mark 60 years of Welthungerhilfe, the organization invited guests from politics, NGO representatives, experts from academia and business, the media and long-standing supporters to an evening event in Berlin on its founding day, 14 December. The aim of the evening in the Tipi am Kanzleramt was to draw more attention to hunger in the world. In addition to the speech by the organization's patron, Federal President Frank-Walter Steinmeier, two panel discussions were held on possible ways to achieve the ZERO HUNGER goal and on the future of development cooperation with guests such as Geraldine de Bastion, Florian Gregorzyk, Patrick Katelo Issako and Joyce Queeglay Pajibo. Video clips from Germany, India, Peru and Zimbabwe also provided impetus on both topics. As a pro bono project, the event organizers supported the anniversary with a complete production crew, ensuring that everything ran smoothly.
