EXHIBITION STAND

On behalf of Shell AG, we developed a new trade fair stand design and accompanying communication measures for all euroSHELL trade fair activities at logistics trade fairs and industry get-togethers for 2019.

The design developed translated the overarching, strategic campaign into a tangible space. It also conveyed the core message of perceiving Shell as a mobility partner that offers solutions for the challenges of the present and future with relevant fuels and services. The trade fair stand was to function equally well for business decision-makers and drivers in the light duty and heavy duty segments and be highly recognizable at every trade fair.

In line with this objective, the previous system trade fair stand was replaced with a fresh and modern design in which trade fair visitors felt comfortable and there was enough space for intensive business exchanges. The design deliberately avoided a cool, branding-oriented look and instead opted for a lounge-like concept inspired by the coffee stores in New York and Berlin. Content and products were communicated in direct conversation, via a live blog or the Speakers Corner through entertaining presentations. The focus was on the mobility provider's entire range of topics relating to LNG, CO2, e-mobility, mobile payment, data security, mobility challenges, connected vehicles and healthy nutrition in everyday driving.

The trade fair appearances were complemented by promotional activities that actively attracted visitors to the stand. Guests were happy to linger a little longer over a good barista coffee or during the "Blue Hour" with live music and drinks. The extremely positive response from visitors and trade fair organizers confirmed that the company had hit the nerve of the times with the new campaign and the trade fair stand.

As part of the Transport Logistic trade fair in Munich, an outdoor stand was also created, with the deli by Shell food truck at its center. Cool drinks and small snacks were served in midsummer temperatures with cool beats.

DIE VERANSTALTUNGSMACHER supported Shell for the first time in the implementation of the trade fair concept and, as general contractor, were responsible for the complete creation, conception and implementation of the trade fair stand. In cooperation with the Shell agencies ppm visuals & internet and Edelmann, the trade fair graphics, the design, content planning and programming of the trade fair blog as well as the communication accompanying the trade fair were created.
