Ceremony
To mark its 60th anniversary, Welthungerhilfe invited guests from the world of politics, representatives of NGOs, experts from academia and business, the media, and long-standing supporters to an evening event in Berlin on its founding day, December 14, 2022.
The evening event at the Tipi am Kanzleramt was held with the aim of raising awareness of world hunger. In addition to a speech by the organization's patron, Federal President Frank-Walter Steinmeier, two panel discussions were held on possible ways to achieve the ZERO HUNGER goal and on the future of development cooperation, with guests including Geraldine deBastion, Florian Gregorzyk, Patrick Katelo Issako, and Joyce Queeglay Pajibo. Input on both topics was also provided via video from Germany, India, Peru, and Zimbabwe. As a pro bono project, DIE VERANSTALTUNGSMACHER supported the anniversary with a complete production crew, ensuring that everything ran smoothly.
