250 million trees planted worldwide—a milestone worth celebrating.
On behalf of Ecosia, we had the privilege of helping organize a special evening at the Museum für Naturkunde in Berlin to celebrate the planting of 250 million trees worldwide.
About 100 invited guests from the worlds of politics, business, media, academia, and civil society gathered not only to look back on what has been achieved so far, but also to look ahead: to climate protection, digital independence, and the question of how we can shape the future together.
Featuring keynote speeches, a panel discussion, and the inauguralEcosia Tree Awards, the evening provided an opportunity for inspiration, dialogue, and recognition of partners and changemakers who are committed to climate protection and positive change.
The Museum of Natural History could hardly have provided a more fitting setting. A place steeped in history, with character and impact—and an impressive backdrop for an evening in which sustainability was not only the theme but also the unifying element.
