CONFERENCE &GALA
Following intensive location scouting, Dresden was selected as the venue for a three-day event with almost 800 participants for the management conference of a German commercial enterprise.
The conference at Messe Dresden formed the heart of the event and put the entire Executive Board in the spotlight. In order to achieve the ambitious goals, a concept was developed for the event that exploited all the possibilities of interactive staging with a circular stage and 360° media presentation and focused on proximity to the audience. The event program was designed and moderated entirely by the board members with entertaining formats and exciting keynotes. These formats were supported by an individual media concept, giving each conference block its own distinctive profile. Classic animations of the spoken word were used as well as topic-specific inserts, background information and AI co-moderation. Robots also found their place in the technology-driven staging. The numerous personal moments on and off stage contributed significantly to the great success of the event.
The newly reopened Kempinski Taschenbergpalais provided the perfect backdrop for a special evening event. Together with their companions, the guests experienced a dine-around concept that showcased the culinary side of the Saxon region. Each event room offered different high-quality catering, allowing guests to discover the entire hotel in an enjoyable way. One of the highlights was the orangery tent erected especially for the event in the inner courtyard of the 5-star hotel, which blended harmoniously into the structure of the building. The evening was accompanied by numerous artists, whose performances created the perfect ambience in each location.
With six months of preparation and a team of almost 20 people on site, we managed the set-up, three rehearsal days, two evening events and the conference together with the client. A total of eleven days on site and additional pre-programming days paid off, and in the end we were able to record many happy moments.
As the perfect event destination, Dresden was the perfect place for this sophisticated event - historical flair, first-class service, professional service providers and the short distances on foot or by streetcar between all the locations and hotels.
"This event had so many different challenges on the way to success that I am particularly proud of my team. I would also like to thank the client for placing their complete trust in us for this special event," summarizes Nadine Bortscheller, Managing Director and Project Manager of DIE VERANSTALTUNGSMACHER.
