For the 5th time in a row, DIE VERANSTALTUNGSMACHER organized the central ceremony for German Bread Day in Berlin.

The motto of the day, "Regionality and diversity", was representative of what was to be celebrated on this day: German bread in all its regional facets.

The focus of a successful day was the awarding of the new German Bread Ambassador. This year's award went to the head of the Federal Chancellery, Minister Peter Altmaier. Numerous guests from the skilled trades, SMEs and politics celebrated this special day at the e-werk in Berlin, as well as the inclusion of German bread culture in UNESCO's nationwide list of intangible cultural heritage.
