EMPLOYEE EVENT
DIE VERANSTALTUNGSMACHER hired the AIDA Perla for an employee event and transformed the ship into a floating event location in no time at all. However, it was not a case of "cast off" as is usual on a cruise ship; instead, the ship remained firmly anchored in the port of Hamburg for sustainability reasons and functioned as a hotel and venue for the almost 2,000 employees of a consultancy firm.
Within a few months, a stage concept lasting several hours was developed for various formats. A particular challenge was the "interconnection" of two stages, which were to operate on an equal footing due to the lack of capacity on board the ship. The technical, organizational and artistic possibilities had to be evaluated in a very short space of time and the concept adapted accordingly. The set-up and rehearsal planning between guest shows and the availability of the ship's personnel also presented the planning and creative team with special challenges, which were solved primarily by an additional crew.
The sophisticated technical and creative concept with live broadcasts, double moderation by the board members and a young moderation duo delighted all participants in the end. The crowning finale was the festival-like party on various decks of the ship, where everyone partied until the early hours of the morning.
DIE VERANSTALTUNGSMACHER were responsible for the entire communication concept, the technical, organizational and logistical planning and implementation as well as the media production and overall project management and were able to convince the new customer with the event for further planned projects.
