The Bundesverband E-Commerce und Versandhandel Deutschland e.V. (bevh) celebrated its 75th anniversary in June with around 300 guests in Solingen, where it was founded.
Numerous association members, companions and their relatives accepted the invitation to the anniversary gala at the Alte Schlossfabrik Solingen. The guests were treated to an evening-long program with a variety of musical acts, discussion panels and a live cooking buffet.
The evening was opened by a speech from the newly re-elected President of the bevh, Gero Furchheim. He looked back with pride on the last 75 years and paid tribute to the committed companies that have accompanied us on this path. A highlight of the evening program was definitely the panel discussion "Generational Change" with Thomas and Christian Busch (Walbusch), Vanessa Stützle (Douglas) and Andreas Reuter (Schäfer Shop), who discussed the change in the company, in technology and last but not least with the customers from the perspective of different generations in e-commerce.
After an excursion into online retail in the year 2047 by futurist and innovation expert Nick Sohnemann, the party continued into the early hours of the morning.
